Hubmen & Jaguars News · Jordan Gymnast is enjoying her opportunity to compete!

Jordan has had a long standing MSHSL cooperative sponsorship with the Prior Lake gymnastics team.  However,  Jordan really hasn’t had a gymnast compete on the team in a long time. Until last year, enter Reagan Goebel!  As an 8th grader, Reagan joined the team, and is once again competing this year in her freshman year.  “The 20-21 Gymnastics season has been amazing so far. Like any other winter sports, we were unaware of what our season would look like,” said Goebel.

Not only is the Prior Lake gymnastics team navigating through a pandemic like other sports, but this year the team also welcomed in new coaches Patrick Kloeckner, Allie Meyer and, Liv Kressler, with Tiffany Harsted returning from last year.

“The team has come together and adapted with the times to move forward and have a successful season,” said Goebel. “We have grown a lot as a team from last year, both Varsity and JV have been very competitive. I personally have been able to grow my skills across the four events, with floor being my strength.  I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills and have incorporated them into my routines. ”
